The Local IT Expert will support the modernisation of the weight and dimension control (WIM) system in Kyrgyzstan.
This position works under the coordination of the WIM Expert/Project Coordinator, in a four-person expert team. The Local IT expert will support the assessment of current information systems and IT infrastructure, map local integration requirements, and work closely with the International WIM Expert to translate WIM and enforcement requirements into practical local IT and integration solutions.
The purpose of engaging a local IT expert/systems integrator is to support the technical assessment and modernization concept by analyzing local IT systems, infrastructure, databases, interoperability mechanisms, and integration requirements related to weight and dimension control.
An additional objective is to ensure knowledge transfer from the International WIM Expert and provide local continuity for implementation, testing, procurement support, and future operational processes after the completion of the International Expert’s assignment.
