Request for quotations: Provision of transportation services

Revised Request for Quotation (RFQ) #PC25-25-34

Peace Corps/Kyrgyz Republic kindly requests your quotation for the provision of transportation services in the following oblasts – Chui, Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Talas, Osh and Jalalabad, including Toktogul.

Minimum Requirements

1. Businesses and drivers have official documentation, such as Certificates, Taxi Licenses, Permits, and other documents
2. All drivers are Kyrgyz-speaking
3. Transportation services must be available in the required oblasts: Chui, Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Talas, Osh, and Jalalabad, including Toktogul
4. Willingness to sign Peace Corps standard supplies/services contract
5. Willingness to receive payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the bank account within 20 working days after acceptance and receipt of invoice
6. Willingness to undergo training by Peace Corps/Kyrgyz Republic (cultural, health, safety and other policies)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO INCLUDE IN THEIR  SUBMISSION TO PEACE CORPS:

• Vendors should provide copies of current documentation proving that they are legally registered to do business.
• Confirm that all drivers speak Kyrgyz
• Confirm the availability of drivers on site or nearby in each required area, including Toktogul.
• Provide a current number of drivers that are based in each oblast, including Toktogul.
• Please confirm your willingness to the requirements for all three points from 4 to 6.

DOCUMENTS REVIEW PROCESS AND TIMELINE

• After the application closing date of March 12, 2025, the Peace Corps will review all submissions for completeness and compliance with all 6 points.
• Following this initial review, all short-listed vendors will be asked to submit their prices for specific routes in these 6 oblasts.
• After this process has been completed, the Peace Corps will notify the final vendor to be selected for a contract award.

Period of Performance: beginning March 2025 for a base contract period of one-year, with the possibility of extending for four additional one-year option periods.

Bidders who have previously submitted their documents do not need to resubmit them unless they wish to add more detailed information on all six minimum requirements. 

Documents from bidders who cannot provide services in all required oblasts will not be considered.
