On March 20, 2025, the Textile Acceleration Demo Day took place in Bishkek, organized by Accelerate Prosperity with the support of the Swiss Government.
Over six weeks, participants gained hands-on knowledge on key aspects of running a garment business, including marketing and promotion, documentation management, production processes, marketplace efficiency, and more.
The program received 167 applications from entrepreneurs, out of which 22 were selected for the training. As a result of the program: 8 companies created 80 new jobs; 14 companies increased their revenue by 22%; 16 companies attracted 153 B2B clients; and 7 companies launched 10 new products and services.
The program brought together top industry experts who shared their experience and practical tools for business development. The curriculum also included visits to the participants’ production workshops followed by in-depth analysis and feedback. According to the graduates, participating in the accelerator allowed them to rethink their business approaches, implement new strategies, and expand their network of professional contacts.
“Supporting the textile business is an investment in the sustainable development of the country's economy. We take pride in the results of our acceleration program and the achievements of its graduates. Keeping up with the times by utilizing new technologies and focusing on consumer needs in an ever-changing market is the key to a successful business,” noted Ms. Aiym Biinazarova, National Programme Officer for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic.
