On 22 October 2015 in Bishkek, the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic will award best Village and District Health Committees of the country for the commitment and voluntary work in health promotion for their communities.
This event will be held within the framework of the project “Community Action for Health” supported and funded by the Government of Switzerland since 1999.
The project “Community Action for Health” is a partnership for health promotion between the government health system and village health committees. It began with a pilot in one region and today it is a countrywide programme with about 1700 committees in 84% of villages of Kyrgyzstan.
