The Public Foundation “Sustenance and Development of the Rule of Law”, with support from the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, has been conducting a survey of judges of Bishkek and Osh on the website
www.sot.kg where judicial acts and other information are to be published. The survey will help identifying the level of their awareness as well as barriers to implementing the objective of ensuring access to information.
The survey is conducted within the project “Promoting Transparency and Public Access to Judicial Acts for Strengthening People’s Confidence in Courts”. The survey will cover 90 judges of district courts including Bishkek City Court, Osh Oblast Court, Osh City Court, and Osh Inter-district Court on Economic Cases.
Based on the survey findings, a report will be prepared to include recommendations on improvements in the publication of judicial acts and information on court proceedings placed on the website
www.sot.kg . The report will be presented to the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and pilot courts for review as well as to the general public.
This project is supported by the
