Kyrgyz citizens and other citizens with resident permit in the Kyrgyz Republic travelling to France and Finland can apply for Schengen visas at the Embassy of Switzerland in Bishkek starting from 1 June 2016.
The Embassy of Switzerland in Bishkek treats applications for short-term visas up to 90 days. Applications for national visas have to be handed in at the Embassy of Finland in Astana and the Consulate General of France in Almaty.
All clients are kindly requested to apply personally at the Swiss Embassy as biometric data of all applicants is required. The Schengen wide Visa Information System simplifies visa procedures, facilitates checks at the external border crossing points of the Schengen zone, and ensures security of the visa holders.
Currently, the Embassy of Switzerland in Bishkek issues visas for Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Visa applicants are invited to apply personally at the Swiss Embassy: 21 Erkindik Boulevard, 11th floor, 720040 Bishkek.
