The monitoring of publishing and posting judicial acts and information of court proceedings on the website www.sot.kg is being reformed by the Public Foundation “Sustenanceand Development of the Rule-of-Law” (Foundation) with the support from the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Foundation monitors information related to the pilot district courts of Sverdlovskey Rayon, Pervomaiskey Rayon, Octyabrskey Rayon and Leninskey Rayon as well as the Bishkek Inter-District Economic Court.  This monitoring effort seeks to improve public access to information associated with decisions handed down from these courts.  This initiative is supported by the Collaborative Governance Program funded by USAID and DFID.

The monitoring includes the collection of statistical data on court cases, judicial sessions, and acts published on the website www.sot.kg, as well as information obtained from court specialists and the calculation of rating scores on those courts and judges that were monitored.

Among all judges, the judges of the Sverdlovskey and Pervomaiskey District Courts were found to be the most committed to implementing the principles of transparency and public accessibility to judicial acts and court proceedings.
