Research Findings on Interaction between NGOs and Government to be Presented in Bishkek

Bishkek – On July 29, 2016, public foundation Asia Consulting will host a roundtable discussion at 9:00 a.m. in the conference-hall of Golden Tulip Hotel to share the results of its research project –“Improving the Sustainability of Interaction between Government Agencies and Civil Society Organizations.”
 
The research examines challenges and opportunities for expanding interaction between civil society and government agencies, including best practices, obstacles, and forms of cooperation.

The research includes a report with conclusions and recommendations, case studies, mass media content analysis, legislative acts, and quantitative indicators of interaction between civil society organizations and government agencies. 

The study was supported by the Collaborative Governance Program (CGP), which promotes effective collaboration among civil society, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the private sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. The program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), and is implemented by East-West Management Institute (EWMI).
