The University of Central Asia (UCA) was founded in 2000 as a private, not-for-profit, secular university through an International Treaty signed by the Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, and His Highness the Aga Khan; ratified by their respective parliaments and registered with the United Nations. Summary of Position and Key Responsibilities
UCA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) coordinates the externally funded programmatic and research activities of the University. The Compliance Officer will fulfill a critical function within the Office to ensure the compliance of all project expenditures with donor requirements. The Compliance Officer will serve as the in-house compliance expert to review and approve all project activities and expenses that are funded through external grants. Duties will include supporting initial budget development, monitoring project work plans and activity schedules, reviewing expenses during project implementation, and confirming compliance with all contractual requirements.
