Mainstreaming gender within the Country programme portfolios of UNDP is a key requirement that necessitates the application of corporate tools of UNDP and reporting of gender-based results in program and project implementation in Public Effectiveness and Accountable Institutions, Sustainable Inclusive Growth, Climate Change, Environment, Energy, and HIV and TB programmes. UNDP is committed to achieving gender equality and provides its expertise and effectiveness in protecting and advancing women's rights and gender equality in Kyrgyzstan.
Taking into account the ongoing gender mainstreaming plan implementation, UNDP intends to recruit an intern to support gender plans in 2025 in collecting gender related data, assisting with capacity building activities, supporting gender seal activities, gender equality and women’s empowerment-related initiatives, gender raising communications and awareness campaigns.
