Background:
The National Political Officer position is assigned to the Office of the Head of Mission with the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB). The incumbent works under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head of Programme Office and has the primary purpose of supporting the work of the Office of the Head of Mission. This involves activities directed to contribute to the effective realization of the mandate regulated programmatic work of the POiB and supporting the work of the senior management, including tasks of monitoring, research, analysis, and reporting.

Remuneration Package: Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is 1818.92 Euro/month. Social benefits will include OSCE participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.

The mandatory retirement age at the OSCE is 65 years for contracted positions at the general service, professional, and director level. The Organization shall apply an age limit of 63 years at the time of appointment, as the incumbent selected is normally expected to carry out the contractual obligation of two years.
