A report released today by UNHCR shows that the number of refugees, asylum-seekers, and internally displaced people worldwide has, for the first time in the post-World War II era, exceeded 50 million people.

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Visits UCA Naryn Campus Site
Kyrgyz Prime Minister Joomart Otorbayev visited the University of Central Asia's (UCA) main campus in Naryn on 6 June 2014. He was accompanied by Mr Osmonbek Artykbaev, Minister of Energy and Industry; Mr Abdylda Suranchiev, Minister of Internal Affairs; Mr Abdymamat Murzabekov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications; Mr Altynbek Ergeshov, Head of the Department for Organisational and Inspectorial Work and Local Governance of the Apparatus of the Government.
EBRD President Chakrabarti and Akim Esimov sign agreements during President’s visit to Kazakhstan’s largest city.
