Switzerland launched a new project to strengthen autonomy of health facilities of Kyrgyzstan

The Government of Switzerland and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic have launched a CHF 4.6 million (around 297 million soms) new project “Health Facilities’ Autonomy in Kyrgyzstan” in three pilot rayons - Ton, Tyup and Jety-Oguz of the Issyk-Kul oblast in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The United Nations in the Kyrgyz Republic urges the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic to respect its international human rights commitments and refrain from adopting discriminatory laws

The United Nations in the Kyrgyz Republic calls on the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) to refrain from approving a bill that would introduce criminal and administrative sanctions for acts aimed at forming “a positive attitude towards non-traditional sexual relations”.[1]
