EBRD provides US$ 2 million to its partner bank to help SMEs and families save energy. The EBRD has provided new lending to Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB), one of its partner banks in the country, to increase financing for energy efficiency projects.
Bank raises over EUR 10 million to modernise passenger transportation in Osh. EBRD funding of over EUR 10 million will help modernise public transport in Osh by putting 24 new buses and 20 new trolleybuses on the roads of the second largest city in the Kyrgyz Republic and the largest city in the southern region of the country, as well as creating its first formal ticket system.
