BISHKEK, August 1, 2020 – The World Bank announced today the appointment of Naveed Hassan Naqvi as World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic, replacing Bolormaa Amgaabazar who was in this position since August 2017.

On July 15, 2020, the Government of Switzerland in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kyrgyzstan transferred personal protective equipment to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
