Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities Monitoring the Quality of Social Services in Kyrgyzstan
The Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities (ARDI) will monitor various social institutions for compliance with the minimum standards of social services. Monitoring is carried out to upgrade the quality of guaranteed social support to children with disabilities through improvement of the state standards of social services.

China becomes EBRD member
EBRD President and Chinese Premier hail new era of cooperation. China has become the 67th member of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Following the completion of all the formalities, the announcement was made after a meeting between the EBRD President Sir Suma Chakrabarti and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on 15 January.

Switzerland to support earthquake-affected people in the south of Kyrgyzstan
The Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic is launching a new six-month project to support the most vulnerable households in Osh oblast affected by the earthquake of November 17th, 2015. This project will cost CHF 220’000 (around USD 222’000).

EBRD lends US$ 5 million in som to DKIB in Kyrgyz republic for SMEs and mortgages
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided a financing package to its partner bank in the Kyrgyz Republic, Demir Kyrgyz International Bank (DKIB), aimed at supporting small and medium-sized companies and mortgage lending.
