EBRD financing will be on-lent to companies and households for energy efficiency improvements and small-scale renewables

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today completed the sixth and final review of the Kyrgyz Republic’s economic performance under the program supported by a three-year, SDR 66.6 million (about US$106 million at the time of approval) arrangement under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF)¹.

In Bishkek, EBRD launches information campaign on the value of external advice for business. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) today launches a new information campaign in the Kyrgyz Republic about the value of external advice for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The launch will be marked by an opening speech from the EBRD’s First Vice President, Phil Bennett, who will talk about the importance of know-how for the development of individual SMEs and for the growth of the wider economy.
