The Government of Switzerland has allocated 1.75 million soms to six municipalities of Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul provinces and the city of Balykchy. Every local authority has received a grant in the amount of 250’000 soms to improve public services at the municipal level.
Bishkek – On 26-27 April 2016, judges of the second instance courts, Supreme Court, and Constitutional Chamber will participate in a specialized course “Formation of Anti-Corruption Models of Behavior.” The training program will help form of an anti-corruption model of behavior, promote legal values in decision-making in line with personal values, and aid in the establishment of rule of law.
Yesterday, on 19 April, the EBRD held an environmental workshop in the Issyk Kul region for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to share information about successful advisory projects supported by the Bank and stimulate further activity in this area. This is in response to the needs and concerns expressed by the Issyk Kul government and local resorts to reduce costs and preserve the ecological situation in the region.
On 20 April 2016 in Bishkek the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic Danielle Meuwly Monteleone will award certificates worth 1 million soms each to the representatives of 17 municipalities of the Chui Province.
