An IMF mission led by Mr. Edward Gemayel visited Bishkek during January 29 to February 4, 2016 to discuss recent economic developments, government policies and economic prospects in the context of a challenging regional environment. The discussions also prepared the ground for the second review mission under the Fund supported Extended Credit Facility, tentatively scheduled for April 2016.

The map will enable citizens to inform the Mayor Office on their needs in specific municipal needs, gaps, and other issues of the city. Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – The Anticorruption Business Council of the Kyrgyz Republic will begin a review of laws that may impact effective protection of property rights of businesses and citizens. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is continuing to support the Green Economy drive in Kazakhstan by financing a new, cleaner and more energy-efficient gas-fired electricity generating plant in Atyrau, a harbour city on the Caspian Sea and a regional capital in western Kazakhstan.
The Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities (ARDI) will monitor various social institutions for compliance with the minimum standards of social services. Monitoring is carried out to upgrade the quality of guaranteed social support to children with disabilities through improvement of the state standards of social services.
