Kyrgyzstan hosts the Central Asian thematic workshop “Classic PR tools and a new language of interaction between governmental agencies and the media: data visualization” for representatives of the PR and press services of the governmental agencies and journalists from Central Asian countries on July 10-11 in Kyrgyzstan.
The Swiss Federal Councillor and Minister of Finance, Ueli Maurer, visits Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the joint voting group in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. The visit takes place from 9 to 10 July and included meetings with President Almazbek Atambaev, Minister of Finance Adylbek Kasymaliev, Governor of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov as well as with local entrepreneurs and opinion leaders.
Osh city - On July 11, 2017, at 10 a.m. the Public Foundation “DIA” (Demilgeluu Ishker Ayaldar) holds a roundtable to discuss the introduction of a new municipal service with representatives of aiyil okmotu (local self-government) to combat domestic violence. DIA is proposing to introduce the services of a psychologist and a lawyer in pilot ayil aimaks (rural self-governments) for working with victims of violence, as well as on prevention of domestic violence. The discussion will take place in the Resource Center "DIA" at the address: 1 Bayalinova Street, Osh city (Osh-Nuru Hotel).

On June 30, 2017, Deputy Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynai Omurbekova, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kyrgyz Republic René Holenstein and Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Aliona Niculita signed a memorandum of understanding to support the consolidation of a strong and inclusive parliamentary democracy in the Kyrgyz Republic. The signing ceremony took place in Jogorku Kenesh with participation of members of parliament, management of the apparatus of Jogorku Kenesh as well as representatives from international donor community.
