University of Central Asia Undergraduate Admissions Open for Campuses in Naryn and Khorog

16 February 2017 – The University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Applications are now available for undergraduate study at UCA’s Naryn campus in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Khorog in Tajikistan.

University of British Columbia and University of Central Asia Collaborate on Earth and Environmental Sciences

The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, and the University of Central Asia (UCA), whose central administrative office is located in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, signed an agreement to enable UBC to design curriculum for 22 courses that will be used by UCA faculty members to teach the Earth and Environmental Sciences Programme to UCA students.

EBRD and AIFC launch study for Green Financial System in Kazakhstan

Protection of environment and climate with market-compliant tools. In a new step to support Kazakhstan’s path towards a greener economy, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is launching a study that will assess the potential of developing a green financial system for the country. A system of this kind would boost financing for “green” projects in Kazakhstan and beyond and would be based within the forthcoming Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).
