An opening ceremony of the clinical skills center in the medical faculty of the Osh State University took place on March 1, 2017.
Local currency credit will support more efficient consumption of energy. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is continuing to support Kazakhstan’s strategic goal to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainability, known as the “green economy” strategy, with a new financing under the Bank’s own Green Economy Transition approach (GET).
After the training, government employees will carry out outreach activities to improve legal culture of young people and citizens of the two cities. The training has involved regional employees of ministries and agencies of Osh and Jalal-Abad. 20 employees in the southern capital and 24 in Jalal-Abad have taken part in the training.
The University of Central Asia (UCA) and the National Research University’s Higher School of Economics (HSE) signed an agreement on 14 February 2017 in Moscow, Russia. HSE will develop curriculum for UCA’s undergraduate programme in Economics and contribute towards faculty development. UCA has the field experience and data on economic challenges in Central Asia, and HSE will provide the analytical expertise, including exchange of faculty and students, and collaborate on joint research.

16 February 2017 – The University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Applications are now available for undergraduate study at UCA’s Naryn campus in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Khorog in Tajikistan.
During a visit to the Naryn Campus of the University of Central Asia (UCA) on 12 February 2017, the Naryn Mayor, Emilbek Alymkulov, expressed satisfaction that in the short period of time UCA has been in operation, “we are already seeing changes in the development of Naryn and this is very encouraging.”
